Mammoth Tracks – The Ice Age Trail Guide

Mammoth Tracks is the official app for the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, built through a collaboration of the Ice Age Trail Alliance and the creators of Guthooks Guides hiking guide apps.

The Mammoth Tracks app is a GPS- and map-based guide for your Ice Age Trail hiking experience. Whether youre backpacking, or in search of IATAs Cold Caches, this app will help you plan your trip and check your location on the trail.

NO MOBILE OR INTERNET service is required to use it after the initial setup.

A section of the Ice Age Trail in the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Southern Unit is free to download (approximately mile 820 to 850) to get acquainted with the app before deciding to purchase the rest of the trail. The Trail is split into three sections (West, Central, and East), which can be purchased one at a time ($9.99 per section) or all at once ($24.99 for the batch). Once a section is purchased, youll have access to it and all future updates to the guide.
